Independent boatbuilder Eric Bert offers design/build marine carpentry, yacht joinery, and fishing vessel repair. He is based in the Port Angeles Boat Yard. Eric is known for his good reputation and quality work using the finest tools and proven materials.

Eric's professional experience and education includes working in the Pacific Northwest and Maine boatyards full-time since 1994. His current and upcoming projects include:

• Interior/exterior re-build for a cold-molded sailboat
• Interior conversion for a 1965 72' steel fishing vessel live aboard
• Teak deck replacement for 85' Admiral Marine yacht
• 1963 Thunderbird sailboat

Eric provides high quality repair work for commercial and pleasure vessels. His expertise includes traditional structural woodworking, modern composite construction and fine joinery. Modern Yacht Joinery is a complete woodworking shop located in the Port Angeles Boat Yard.
